Android 11 has a very useful feature that wireless charging users will love
Google has already launched the Android 11 Developer Preview, and we have been able to test the advance of the new version of Google's operating system that, as every year, brings a few news under our arms to make life a little easier for users.
Little by little, users who are testing Android 11 discover some new feature about this new version, and today we are going to tell you about one of these new features that are coming to Android. It is related to Qi wireless charging, and it can save you more than one upset when you leave your mobile charging.
Android will notify you when you have placed the mobile wrong in the charging base
If you have a mobile compatible with Qi wireless charging, you will know that there are times when it is quite easy to leave the mobile resting on the base, but in a position where it does not charge. And this is a problem if we do not realize it, since when it comes to picking it up, we are going to find ourselves with the surprise that the mobile has not charged anything, or it has charged very slowly.
Well, in Android 11 you will be able to detect this problem even if you yourself do not realize it a priori, since, as a Reddit user has discovered, you will receive a warning that will tell you to place the terminal back on the base to be able to load it properly wireless correctly, putting an end to this uncertainty about possible errors by placing the terminal, and of course it is something that is appreciated.
It is true that placing the mobile on the base does not seem very complicated, especially if it is a stand, however, it is not uncommon to make a mistake when doing so, and as I told you, take the mobile and see that it has barely been loaded is a pretty annoying thing.
This notice is something that we have already seen in other layers of customization such as MIUI, and that, although it is not essential, or that it will make us opt for one mobile or another, it is true that it is something that we appreciate it quite a lot. One of those little details that we like. And that, as of Android 11, we will find in all terminals compatible with Qi fast charging, whether they are from Google or not. Although as always, terminals with heavy layers of customization will depend a little more on the manufacturer.
At the moment we know some things about Android 11, and although there is still half a year left - if Google maintains its usual calendar - for us to see its presentation, we already have enough information about what is to come, such as the best management of the RAM memory of your smartphone, whatever it is, carry your official credentials on your mobile, as well as some small details, such as not deactivating Bluetooth when we activate airplane mode, or using several colors at the same time in the notification curtain.
